What are Wordsworth Walks?

‘Wordsworth Walks’ offer a unique developmental experience, suitable for individuals, companies and organisations. Built around a guided three-mile walk of Wordsworth Country (Rydal and Grasmere in the Lake District), they use the landscape, the poet’s work and a series of practical exercise to provide a framework in which participants can reflect on their own development, values and plans for the future. The walks enable participants to explore three main ideas

1)     To reflect on what have been the major influences in their personal / and or professional lives

2)     To examine their own sense of ‘Vision’

3)     To consider how best to work with others

‘Wordsworth Walks’ are an integral part of high-profile and prestigious management and leadership training programmes, including MBAs, but are now also being offered as stand-alone, one-day courses.

With the support of Lancaster University FASS-Enterprise Centre we are able to offer a limited number of places on the next Wordsworth Walk at the special introductory price of £175 per person (normal price £350).

All outdoor equipment (including waterproofs, boots, helmets, canoes etc) and food is provided.
